Jyoti Wins Top ICT Businesswoman in Africa Award

Jyoti Mukherjee – Managing Director Software Technologies has been named the “Top ICT Businesswoman in Africa” after a grueling judging process.

The 9th Annual African ICT Achievers Awards was organized by ForgeAhead – a majority black and women owned leader in the ICT Research and Consulting business in Africa. The Gala Event took place on the 17 November 2007, at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa, where the winners of the awards were announced in true African style.

The process which took more than two months attracted high calibre of entries from across the entire continent.

Jyoti in her acceptance speech thanked her family and her entire team without whose support she would not have won the award.

Jyoti says she will do anything in her power towards making the “African Century a reality” especially on issues related to gender equality where most women feel alienated in ICT industry.
