Jyoti Mukherjee is Best Entrepreneur of 2001

Our Managing Director, Jyoti Mukherjee, made STL proud once again on her appointment by Computer Society of Kenya Award Committee as the most outstanding IT Entrepreneur 2001.

At a colorful dinner, Jyoti was awarded for having excelled as a leading campaigner for promoting and encouraging private investment in the Information Technology sector.

She stood out in 2001 amongst many investors in the industry as one who has shown evidence in accomplishment and consistency in strategic planning of private investment for the communities around us, as well as in the rural and remote areas by setting up telecentres. These include those in Ruira Satellite, Huruma and Gigiri Police Station. Jyoti is also a director of the board of the Centre for Corporate Governance.
