LAVEMP Project in Uganda

STL has been awarded the tender for Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project (LAVEMP), an organization which manages the activities of Lake Victoria, Uganda. Lake Victoria is the largest freshwater lake in Africa lying mainly in Tanzania and Uganda and is a major earner of foreign exchange for Uganda through the sale of fish worldwide.

Once the project is completed, LAVEMP will be able to enhance customer service, be more efficient in operating the lake and better integrate its fish farming industry with the rest of the COMESA region.

Our Presence in Uganda
The deal with LAVEMP goes further to establish STL's presence in Uganda having made its debut in Kampala, Uganda in 1998.
