New Oracle Certification Programme

Oracle customers and business partners are demanding hands-on experience with all aspects of Oracle's database including from the Database Administrators they hire. In order to meet this demand, Oracle University has recently made a significant investment in its certification programme.

Three distinct changes are being announced with the goal of increasing the quality and value of the Oracle Certified Professional credential in the marketplace:

  • Scenario-based testing in all Oracle 9i Certified Professional track exams.
  • Instructor-led class requirement for candidates starting on the Oracle 9i DBA Certified Professional credential exam path (effective September 1, 2002).
  • A new hands-on Masters Practicum Exam for the Oracle Certified Master (available October 2002).

This new certification is available at all Oracle Approved Education Centres (OAEC), such as STL.

OAEC's provide Oracle training in locations where Oracle University does not maintain a direct presence. Oracle University provides Oracle licensed software products and Oracle developed curriculum to support OAEC classes. Furthermore, instructors approved by Oracle University.

For more information on the Oracle Certification Programme, please contact our Training Manager, either by telephone on 319174/ 248237, or by email at training@stl-horizon.com
