What CMM Standards mean for Software developed by STL
STL follows a methodology based on the internationally recognized Capability Maturity Model (CMM) developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). STL is one of the elite few solution providers in the world providing services following this process intensive model.
What is CMM for?
In the global marketplace, delivering the right software to end users is fundamental to success. New technical challenges make the development of software more difficult and require the development and adoption of new software engineering practices.
What CMM does is to help us improve our software engineering capabilities so that projects can carried be out faster than anyone else, but with predictable performance, quality, cost, and schedules. In addition, unlike ISO Standards, CMM Standards are much more specific and have varying levels.
