This is a senior position requiring one to have over 5 years’ experience in software and B2B/B2G account management. One will be required to travel extensively and will be reporting to the Business Development Manager. To be successful you will be required to be a self-starter with an executive presence and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Identify potential clients from public sector institutions and manage those relationships.
- Identify new product development or product enhancement opportunities based on industry trends or feedback from clients etc.
- Securing meetings, doing demos and presentations to Public sector clients.
- Preparing proposals and tenders.
- Ensure sales targets are met as desired by top management based on the sales strategy.
- Handle sales enquiries related to new sales, cross sales and subscription renewal.
- Ensure to provide regular management and performance feedback reports.
- Complete tasks independently within defined policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or the equivalent
- 5 years and above of Proven work experience in private and public procurement (B2B & B2G account management)
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication
- Proficiency in MS suite and CRM software
- Good Presentation skills
- Fluency in English & Swahili
- Strong networking, influence and negotiation skills
